Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of my best friend Megan, her fiancé Jeff, and Megan's 11 year old son Cohen.

In mid-January, Cohen, was diagnosed with stage 4 osteosarcoma cancer and has just begun treatment. This is an incredibly difficult situation, made even more complex by the fact that Megan herself battled leukemia when we were 13 years old.

Megan has stepped away from work to be fully present with Cohen as he undergoes treatment. Which has put added financial stress on their family.

I created this GoFundMe to help ease some of that burden, so Megan and Jeff can focus their energy where it’s needed most, on caring for Cohen and getting through this one day at a time. The funds will go to supplementing the cost of their home bills, as well as treatment & prescription costs not covered by Alberta Health Services.
