Hi! My name is Cecilia Foster. I am the little sister of CJ Foster, my loving brother and best friend. CJ's good friend Bobby/Rob Goldberg and I have come together to share this story of the challenges our family is currently facing and encourage as many people that have walked through CJ's life and others who may be compelled to support him and his family through the financial struggle of this unexpected crisis.

For those who don't already know CJ, he is a kind-hearted, humorous, solid rock of the family. Each and every person he has interacted with throughout his life, he has impacted positively. He recently moved to Florida to establish a fresh start in life and was only a few months into this journey when tragedy struck.

CJ was hospitalized unexpectedly on June 11, 2023 with pneumonia, the cause of which was later determined to be a massive stroke. The stroke has caused severe brain damage and the pneumonia, in combination with a prior COVID infection, has caused severe lung damage. CJ remains on life support in critical condition and his family is now faced with incredibly difficult decisions around what medical routes to take next.

His mother has remained by his side throughout this time as a strong advocate for his care and our goal is to use any funds raised to support her and our immediate family financially with travel costs and medical expenses as we continue to seek the best possible care and outcome for CJ.
