Spende geschützt
Earlier this month, The Raymond Family got the news no parent or family member ever wants to hear. After trying to find the source of mysterious back and hip pain for some time, their beautiful 20-year-old daughter and sister Ciara discovered she had a tumor on her spine and that the tumor was cancerous. Since then, they’ve learned that her cancer is Stage 4 Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer that primarily affects children and teens. In response to this diagnosis, Ciara has summoned tremendous courage and started weekly rounds of chemotherapy that are sapping her energy but have not touched her spirit. In the face of this terrifying prospect, she continues to find gratitude in the care and support she’s receiving, posting after her first round of chemo:
“Just want to thank everyone who’s reached out, sent me things, and just sent their love and support, it means more to me than anyone will know. I feel the love, the care and everything in between. Here’s to continuing to kick some cancer ass!”
Cancer forces a person to stop. It turns our focus to the immediate needs of the body. But the immediate needs of everyday life don’t stop along with it. We’re starting this Go Fund Me page to ease the burden for Ciara and her family. Trips back and forth to the hospital, medication, rent, meals- they all require time and resources. Keep sending your love, your words of encouragement and support. Keep Ciara in your thoughts daily, send positive vibes and if you're able, click the donate button and help to take the anxiety of providing for her daily needs out of the mix.
We humbly ask that you share this link with friends and family. Ask them to send their love and support and if they’re able, ask them to help ease the burden for the Raymond family so they can set their focus on Ciara's recovery. We thank you for your support.
