Hi, my name is Mindy Fisher and I am fundraising for my brother, Chuck.

Chuck is 53 years old and has a 19 year old son, Michael.

With over 20 years of experience, Chuck started a father and son tree trimming business in May of 2023.

Just two weeks in, Chuck’s life changed in a split second.

He was just starting a job when the unthinkable happened. He fell 20 feet from a tree, landing on his back, onto a small rock flower bed edge.

His injuries included 11 broken ribs, 2 collapsed lungs, a broken hip and a broken back with spinal cord damage. This injury has left him paralyzed from the waist down.

His life is forever changed but far from over.

As he recovers and learns to adjust to his new life in a wheelchair, there will be needs to be met.

At present, he lives in an RV on mine and my husband Brads’ property. This is not a viable option for wheelchair life.

Our hope is to build him an efficiency-apartment-style, open concept, one bedroom, ADA compliant home; a home built with the necessities Chuck would need to live a self sufficient life.

Chuck has always been an active member in our community - always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Now, Chuck needs a helping hand.
