Donate to help Christians family with funeral costs

Hello,

We are creating this fundraiser to help with Christian's funeral expenses.

Christian Baerens was our friend and a wonderful Latin Ballroom teacher. He influenced dozens of dancers, created amazing choreographies, took part in Germany's Dancing with the Stars show and so much more.

If you met him, you'd never forget his sparkly personality, I was his student and being coached by him was a treat.

As of April 26th he was hospitalized in Brooklyn's Maimonides Medical Center, at the Cardiac ICU unit.

He fought for his life for two weeks but he lost the battle and he passed on Tuesday May 14th.

His family lives in Germany, so we are his family here now.

His mother is coming from Germany to take her son home.

Money collected in this fundraiser will be used to cover all the expenses associated with her travel and funeral expenses.
