My name is Ben, and I’m raising money for Chris Galdamez. Chris helped me recover from one of the most challenging moments in my life over this past year, a spinal cord injury that turned my life upside down. For the last 9 months, I worked with Chris in physical therapy 2-3 times per week. Please help support Chris' journey into a field that will benefit many people for years to come.
Chris Galdamez is a Physical Therapy Aide at NRG Physical Therapy (formerly Chiro-Medical Group) located in San Francisco, CA. Not only is Chris a phenomenal aide and personality around the clinic, he has an enormous heart and passion for others' well-being. He drives or takes the train to work from San Jose to San Francisco every day. He's involved with his church and supports his family. Chris is a first generation American and the first in his family to graduate from college. He is nothing short of an upstanding person and fixture in his community. Chris is extraordinarily committed to everything he does.
We recently learned Chris will be leaving the clinic in July to start full-time Aide school. It's an intense 11-month program, attending classes 8am to 5pm daily. Once complete, it will allow him to work under a licensed Physical Therapist and expand his role in a clinic by carrying out treatment plans on his own. He doesn't know how he will pay for the $55,000 tuition plus living expenses. The government is more restrictive with graduate school loans, and the most he can borrow is $15,000.
Please contribute what you can. Thank you!
