Meet one of my very best friends, my old college roommate Tyler Texas TJC Tennis Tech 1989 and my old tennis business partner Tennis Coach

Chris Mathews. Chris is a "one of a kind" individual, friend and tennis coach. A very special, dinamic, creative, innovative, adventurist, sensitive, fun, loving man. An AMAZING tennis coach! Chris has freely given his time so many times to help the less fortunate over the last 30 years and now he needs help.

Sadly, last summer while he was teaching tennis in England, he suffered from a STROKE (not a tennis stroke) and basically became paralyzed on his left side.

Since then, he has lived in a Hospital/Rehab Center working daily to regain his movement and speech. While Chris has worked constantly doing rehab, his progress has been minimal and he is adapting to living with his Disability. Chris is going to start teaching tennis while being on a wheelchair.

It's been 9 months and now Chris needs FINANCIAL HELP. Chris needs funds for additional treatments, an electric wheelchair and improving his living conditions to accommodate life on a wheelchair.

His LOVE/PASSION for teaching tennis is so strong and his WILL to get back "on his feet" is even stronger.
