Help Chola recover, she need more test to get better

Hi, my name is Chola!
I’m a 4-year-old Maltese, full of love and usually full of energy — but the last couple of weeks have been really hard for me and my mom.
About two weeks ago, I ate something that upset my stomach badly. I started vomiting and stopped eating almost completely. After two days, my mom rushed me to the vet. I was so scared they had to sedate me for X-rays, to check if I had something stuck in my tummy.
The X-rays didn’t show any blockage, but my intestines were extremely inflamed, so the vets decided to do emergency surgery (a laparotomy) just to be sure. Turns out… there was nothing there.
I spent over 24 hours in the hospital on IV fluids to recover and rehydrate before I could finally go back home. But even now, almost two weeks later, I’m still not feeling like myself. My appetite hasn’t come back, I’m weak, and I need more tests (stool tests, bloodwork, and probably new X-rays) to figure out what’s going on.
Because I’m not eating or drinking enough, I’ll likely need more IV fluids too.
The thing is… my mom just graduated and she’s doing everything she can, but the surgery and treatments have already been very expensive, and we need some help to cover the upcoming tests and treatments.
If you could lend us a paw and help us get through this rough time, we’d be forever grateful. Every little bit helps. Thank you so much for your kindness!
