Hi, this is Chloe Benjamin, I have been given the opportunity to travel to Nicaragua, North America in June/July 2026. The 2 week trip will consist of exploring Nicaragua's volcanoes, lakes, mountains, rainforests, ancient cities, cacao and coffee plantations, but most importantly spend four days building a turtle hatchery. We will be learning about the importance of preserving all these biospheres and ecosystems and understanding the need for conservation and sustainability. As well as the educational conservation side of the trip we will be hiking up Cerro Negro which is an active volcano where we will be volcano boarding back down! And for those brave enough a chance to zip wire through one of Nicaragua’s precious rainforests.
