Donate to help children participate in football.

My name is Louis and on Sunday 30th June 2024 I will be participating in the Lindley 10k.

Since being 3 years old I have been a part of a football club. Starting at my local grassroots club, westend, working my way up to academy level until my late teens. Football has made me into the man I am today and without football god knows where I would be. So now I feel like it’s time to put something back into the sport and the local community.

Over the past 18 months I have been coaching at Lindley Moor Football Club, I have been working with some excellent kids and top level coaches. Lindley Moor is growing from strength to strength with age groups at all levels making a name for themselves in the area.

As times are hard at the moment for families all across the country, I am wanting to raise money to contribute towards the kids signing on fees to reduce the costs for their parents/ guardians. Every child deserves to be able to play the sport they love with their friends no matter what background they come from or their situation at home. For some children the time they spend at football is the happiest time of the week. For some parents £5 being knocked off their child’s signing on fee could mean a lot to them and could go a long way to other things they need.
