Hi, my name is David and I am stepping onto the ring on December 13th to raise money for a charity close to my heart, LPPI.

LPPI is an educational charity which runs a wide range of projects with a focus on helping people at risk of being socially marginalised , and I volunteer here at the weekly homework club we run for children between the ages of 5 and 16.

I'm motivated to fight because I believe that every child should have access to a good education that enables them to thrive as adults.

Sadly, after the pandemic we are seeing a drop in literacy in state school pupils when compared to private school pupils. The work we do at LPPI helps to close this gap, but we need your help to go further in reducing inequality.

With the money we raise we will buy books for our library to start a reading club next spring and we will buy books as Christmas presents for the children.

Any further money raised will help pay for new chairs,tables and stationery.
