My name is Owen Wright. I started running back in 2023 & have enjoyed pushing my body & testing my limits over the past 2 years. I have ran 5km road races all the way up to the half marathon distance. This June Bank Holiday weekend, Cork city will be hosting its annual marathon, where I will be pushing myself further than ever before & racing the challenging distance of 26.2 miles. I am the caretaker of my local primary school Carrigtwohill Community National School. In running this race I am hoping to raise some funds for the school & support them & my local community.
