Donate to help Carol O get back on her foot!

Hi, I am friends with an amazing woman named Carol Ogden who is one of the toughest, kindest and most genuine people I know. As the president of the Florida Horse Trials (equine triathalon) Association, she helps hundreds of amateur riders across FL annually and officiates at events around the country. Carol is loved by all who know her. And we were all saddened when in late October, she had fall from her horse Jonesy after a jump (he went one way and she wanted to go the other) and ended up with a serious break at the distal end of her tibia.

On Nov 10th, Carol had a successful surgery, to reconstruct her ankle with plates and pins, but is looking at months of recovery and rehab before she can be walking and able to have her normal income. She is caring for 2 horses and multiple cats who all need continued feeding and care. Her amazing neighbor, Penny, and friends have chipped in to help with this, and many other daily needs, but Carol needs a bit more.

On top of this, just after surgery, Carol's sewer system backed up and the plumber told her she's potentially looking at a new septic tank - about $3000.

I started this fundraiser to relieve Carol's stress about the loss of income, and to allow all of those who know and love her to contribute to expenses during her recovery over the next few months.
