This is Carls story he was diagnosed last year with stage 4 locally advanced colorectal cancer.

This was devastating news to his family and his 2 children who are just age 13 and 4.

Carl has battled a year of intense chemotherapy 6 weeks of radiotherapy but has been suffering with ongoing infections and difficulty along his journey.

He has had 5 surgery’s so far to help with the infection.

Last week we had the most devastating news that his cancer has spread to his lungs and he is now incurable.He need a massive operation to remove the primary tumour and to recover in time to get back on treatment to have a better quality of life for the time he has left which they said could be 2 to 3 years if he makes the surgery but without surgery it will be less time.

If you know Carl he is a hard working man who has worked all his life up till last year and he is a fighter and he is going to take the surgery if offered and then go back on treatment to hopefully spend us much time and make as many memories with his family and children while he can.He has a meeting the surgeon next week to discuss this next steps.

So A lot of his friends have asked to just give a little to help Carl get though surgery and then enjoy life and make as many memories for his 2 beautiful children with the time he will have left without the stress of money.
