Hi everyone,

My name is Emily, and this is my 17-week-old kitten, Camilla.

A couple of nights ago, I came home from work to find Camilla lying limp on the floor, unable to move. When I picked her up, she started screaming in pain, and I rushed her to the emergency animal clinic. They ran several tests (which turned out to be crazy expensive) and sent us home with pain meds.

Later that night, her condition got worse, and I had to take her back in. We were told she was fighting some kind of infection and had issues with her liver. She had to be hospitalized overnight to receive fluids and care.

Thankfully, by morning, my little baby was feeling better and was able to come home. I'm beyond relieved she's on the road to recovery — but now I'm facing a pretty overwhelming vet bill. I do have pet insurance, but unfortunately, it doesn’t cover everything.

This was something I never expected, especially so early in her life, but sometimes life throws you curveballs. I’m using this GoFundMe to try and cover the remaining cost of her treatment and her upcoming follow-up appointment.

For anyone who’s met Camilla, you know how sweet and special she is. She’s truly become the center of my world, and I just want to give her the care she deserves.
