Hi everyone,

We are reaching out on behalf of our very much loved Cam / Wharto, who recently suffered a traumatic spinal injury during an AFL footy game affecting the C4 and C5 vertebrae. This injury has changed Cam’s life in an instant and although he is extremely strong and determined, the road ahead will be long, uncertain, and incredibly challenging.

Cam is currently receiving medical care and in the coming months, he’ll be facing extensive rehabilitation and medical appointments as he works to regain as much independence as possible.

As you can imagine, the costs associated with his recovery can be overwhelming and on top of that, there are travel and accommodation costs for the family, who are doing everything they can to stay by his side and support him through every step of this journey.

We’ve set up this GoFundMe to help ease the financial burden on Cam and the family so they can focus on what truly matters, healing, staying strong, and being together.
