Thank you all sooooo much for the support. We lost our father May 10th.  He and mom were soul mates and I have no doubt that pulled him along a little quicker to be with her.   Our hearts are broken and we are making it through one day at a time at this point.  

 

 Who knew how much burial and cremation and ceremonies cost. It’s astronomical. We increased our goal to reflect what we are experiencing after getting pricing for everything for both mom and dad and will leave the GoFundMe up as long as we can to make sure they get the burial and cremation they deserve and so people can go visit them as they please.

As many of our friends and family are aware our mother passed last week after coming home on hospice after being hospitalized. Even though Mema had been dealing with progressive congestive heart failure and COPD for years, her passing this quickly was not expected and we are still working to process all this.

On top of that, our father, Poppo, was recently diagnosed with small cell lung cancer that has spread to his adrenal gland and a lymph node in the lung and is unfortunately not curable nor treatable due to how aggressively it is growing and spreading. He is home now, but on hospice, and we do not know how long he will be with us.

If you know anything about our family, we value and love our family members something fierce and are going through a really tough time right now and will be for a while.

As this has come on so quickly, we do not have money saved for services and all that comes with the passing of a loved one.

People keep asking how they can help and the only thing we can think of is getting folks to chip in money to help give them the services and burial/cremation they deserve.
