My name is Geoffrey, and I am raising funds for Yissah Foundation Secondary School (YFSS), a community-driven initiative in Nkhotakota, Malawi. YFSS was born out of Yissah Foundation’s mission to fight food insecurity and poverty through sustainable agriculture, focusing on aquaculture, horticulture, and cassava processing. As we worked with families, we saw a greater need: many children in our community lacked access to affordable, quality education. That is why we are building YFSS, to give every child, especially those from low-income and rural households, a chance at a brighter future.

This school is not just about classrooms; it’s about empowerment. We aim to blend standard education with practical skills in agriculture, nutrition, and sustainability, equipping young people to break cycles of poverty and contribute meaningfully to their communities. However, we cannot achieve this vision alone. We need your support to provide learning materials, build infrastructure, and ensure that no child is left behind due to financial challenges.
