Empower the Next Generation
After traveling to South Africa on a humanitarian trip with Islamic Relief, we witnessed firsthand what it means for children to grow up with little access to education and opportunity. That experience left a deep impact on us and inspired us to take action. We returned home determined to begin a passion project that could give children a fairer chance at learning.
Our initiative is at North Oropouche Government Primary School in Trinidad and Tobago. This school, serving 140 children, has endured devastating floods that destroyed nearly all of its books and resources. Yet the students’ love for learning has never faded. Even during their lunch breaks, they choose to gather and read the few books they still have. Their hunger for knowledge is undeniable and they deserve so much more.
We are working to build them a school library: a safe, vibrant space filled with books, desks, and resources that will open doors to imagination, literacy, and opportunity. With your support, we can restore what was lost and give these children the tools they need to dream bigger. Every contribution counts. Together, let’s turn this vision into reality.
