Hi, my name is Baff, and I am fundraising to help build a better learning environment for the students of the Effiduase A&B Primary school located in Ghana.

These students are in need of many things, but for this fundraiser, we are focusing on the repair / renovation costs of their buildings in addition to the costs of  their student textbooks (Building 1 -$4,922.40,  Building 2- $4,395.33, Student Text Books -$17,992).  *

The school holds over 800 students ranging from middle school to high school students. The rooms are over filled, holding double the intended capacity, making it an unsafe environment for the children as well as the teachers.  

All of these students are lacking basic textbooks to study with and the teachers are doing their best to make it work with the limited resources they have. Many basic things such as computers and iPads that are commonly found in US classrooms are non-existent in this school. 

 

I have created an itemized list below to show exactly how your donations will be contributed, and I will keep everyone updated throughout this process.

Anything as little as 5 dollars would cover a text book for a child. Please help me spread the word and help these kids get the proper education they deserve!
