Hello, my name is Chris and I'm raising funds on behalf of the Rankin Family. As some know, Bryce fell ill recently and has since been diagnosed with AFIB. AFIB stands for Atrial Fibrillation, which is a type of arrhythmia (irregular heart rhythm). Afib can lead to blood clots in the heart. The condition also increases the risk of stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications.

On Monday 2/19/2024 Bryce left work and checked in to Kaiser Hospital (Panorama City) from there he was moved to Kaiser Sunset (Hollywood) to their Cardiac Center and from there quickly moved to Cedar’s Sinai ICU. You can see the urgency the care givers were faced with to get him to the right place. The doctors at Cedar’s have concluded that Bryce will need a heart transplant and are hopeful that they will find one sooner rather than later.
