Hello everyone, we are Vivi and Juci, and we are Bruna's close friends. We've initiated this fundraiser to support Bruna, as unfortunately, Bruna has just been diagnosed with breast cancer on November 7, 2023, at Stage 2 Carcinoma (as per the attached results).

Urgent surgery and several rounds of chemotherapy are necessary for her to recover and survive. She is undergoing many exams but has booked her surgery for November 30!!

All of us who know Bruna are aware that she has always been very dedicated and a hard worker. However, she is currently in Australia on a student visa with a limited 48-hour fortnightly work capacity. She has no access to Medicare, and her insurance, OSH, only covers part of her expenses (which are extremely high).

Considering the upcoming treatment, she will be unable to work for a while. Her studies will also be put on hold, but she still needs to cover her bills and rent on top of the cost of treatment.

Your contributions will go a long way in helping her during this challenging time.

She has already spent around 3k on doctors and exams, and there's a lot more to come, plus chemo. The surgery alone is estimated to cost around 20K ( by Dr. Chantel Thornton at the Epworth Hospital )

"It's very frightening to receive a cancer diagnosis. When I heard the doctor's words, it felt like the world stopped in that moment. I'll never forget it.
