Donate to help Bristol's new Queer radio station!

We are K.U.M, a new independent radio station aiming to shine a light on Bristol's rich and diverse queer scene. We’ll be broadcasting weekly (Thursday-Sunday), with carefully created shows that feature underground sounds, important conversations and much much more.

The station hopes to foster an open and welcoming environment, while promoting queer artists/musicians/events within the South West. Additionally, the station will be a collaborative project that offers learning opportunities and work experience to creatives outside of London, something we have noticed is missing in Bristol.

We’ve been incredibly lucky to receive support from the community and from various publications (Resident advisor, Crack and MixMag). This outpour of love has confirmed that the work we will be doing is important and needed.

This project has been entirely self funded so far, however we simply cannot cover the set up costs of the station without help.

Because of our name, Kunt Up Music Fm couldn’t register as a community interest company (until very recently!) This meant we were unable to apply for funding from various organisations. With the launch of the station quickly approaching, we are in desperate need of equipment that's vital for broadcasting.
