Nuestro querido Leyvis sufrió un accidente terible en St. Louis, Missouri que le causó una lesión cerebral traumática (TBI). Durante más de un mes estuvo luchando por su vida en el ICU. Gracias al increíble esfuerzo de su equipo médico, lograron estabilizarlo y salvar su vida . Después de semanas de incertidumbre entre la vida y la muerte, finalmente fue trasladado a una sala regular del hospital y el próximo paso es trasladarlo a un centro de rehabilitación para ahí empezar toda su terapia.

Quienes conocen a Leyvis saben lo lleno de vida que es. Siempre ha sido divertido, alegre y con una sonrisa que ilumina cualquier lugar. Ahora nos toca a nosotros levantarlo a él.

El mayor deseo de nuestra familia es poder traer a Leyvis a Florida y si es posible a Miami pero lo más importante es que el tenga un buen cuidado y pueda continuar su recuperación rodeado del cariño y apoyo de sus familiares y amigos. Lamentablemente, la única manera segura de transportarlo es a través de un transporte médico especializado, el cual tiene un costo alto y no lo cubren los hospitales, Además, se necesitarán recursos para cubrir los gastos de rehabilitación y las necesidades básicas durante esta etapa.

Our dear Leyvis suffered a terrible accident in St. Louis, Missouri that caused a traumatic brain injury (TBI). For more than a month he fought for his life in the ICU. Unfortunately, the only safe way to transport him is through specialized medical transport, which comes at a high cost and is not covered by hospitals.
