Our family is facing a challenge with various expenses to overcome after this inspirational woman, Judy Scheffler, suffered a stroke on August 2nd, 2022. She spent 6 weeks at UNMC overcoming obstacles, conquering surgeries, and leaving us speechless! Recently, Judy progressed further to Madonna Rehabilitation in Omaha, NE. She is relearning & gaining strength each day! In the next few weeks, upon release from Madonna, Judy will be coming home!! As you can imagine, there are quite a few costly elements to coming home. Everything from remodeling the house in efforts to heighten accessibility on the main floor to purchasing safety & medical equipment.
