Donate To Help Boba Get Emergency Surgery

Hi, my name is Boba DeNoia & I’m a 2 year old short-haired cat that lives in Westchester, NY with my momma, Jess! I love cuddling, meowing & sitting next to my mommy while she drinks tea ☕️

A few days ago, I was straining to pee and couldn’t help but cry! My mom rushed me to the emergency room. The doctor there evaluated me & told my mom I was blocked & unable to pee - which is actually really dangerous.

When the doctor put me under anesthesia to help unblock me, she wasn’t able to do the procedure. Apparently, it seemed like I was an intersex cat & born with both male & female parts. This meant that a catheter could not be inserted to fix my problem.

Rushing to help me, my mommy raced me to a specialty emergency vet in NYC. The doctor said I would need emergency surgery to help me pass urine as an intersex cat. This is very uncommon - and mommy says that means it is also extremely expensive.

My mom loves me so much & will do anything for me, but she is asking for your support in order to do so, so that I can finally feel relief and get better ❤️‍

During my surgery, the new specialty doctor called my mom again & said that I wasn’t actually intersex! (Crazy, right!?) Turns out, there was just a problem with my prepuce (foreskin) which they suspected was causing my blockage. I got an easier surgery and was sent home the next day…..

But less than 24 hours later, I’m back at the emergency specialist in NYC and blocked again. Now I need another surgery called a “PU”, which is the only option left to let me live comfortably again and get unblocked.

My mom & I are asking for any and all support we can get to help me feel better. These two surgeries have costed my mommy over $10,000. Although it’s hard for her to be vulnerable & ask for help, she is being brave, just like me.❤️‍
