Hi, my name is Victoria Lopez, and I am raising funds for a dear friend who is starting her journey battling cancer. I got to meet Blanca at Hawaiian Bros where we truly got to become an Ohana (family). She was the highlight of my day, so sweet to everyone. We share laughs and memories. Together we can confide in each other, and she has always been loving and supportive to everyone around her. On December 18, 2023 she went for her physical check-up where they ran labs, and it raised some concerns for her doctors and ordered her to rush to the emergency room after getting the results, because she needed a blood transfusion immediately she was so close to having a heart attack because her heart was working overtime. She said goodbye to her kids thinking she was going to be back at least by the next day, but she had to stay in the hospital for 12 days. While they were doing some scans, it was when the doctors discovered that she had a tumor the size of a baseball in her large intestine and immediately got her into surgery to remove it, where they discovered another tumor close to her pancreas and three liver spots. Doctors had to remove her appendix and a piece of the large intestine along with the baseball-sized tumor. There was so much bleeding during the surgery she was hemorrhaging, and she needed lots of blood, so doctors were forced to close her up without removing the other tumor. They tested 23 lymph nodes and 8 of them came back cancerous. Her journey is just beginning. She is awaiting her diagnosis along with what stage of cancer she is battling and trying to get stronger to start her chemotherapy and radiation. She is preparing to fight this. She is at peace with her sickness. If any of you are willing to pray for her, it would mean everything. She is such an amazing human. It hurts everyone to see her going through this. We want to be there for her, as she is there for everyone else. I will quote her “All I know is how to love. I love everyone”. She has such a sweet and kind soul, and she’s always there for everyone, especially her family. She is a mom of three and a wife to her husband. She always cares for them like a Mom and a wife. She truly is a superhero. She is so strong, she’s a fighter and she’s fearless. Her life hasn’t been easy. God knows everything she’s had to go through, but she has never thrown in the towel. I am starting this go fund me to help her in the only way I know how by providing some financial relief to take one more thing off her plate since she was the sole income provider for her family. She is relying on her family to help her right now, but it takes a village. Any donation will go to helping Blanca and her family to help get through this, whether it be used to pay her bills, keep food on the table, pay some medical expenses, anything she needs to fight this, because she will ring that bell.
