Donate to help Berto Hernandez

On Sunday, July 24th, Berto Hernandez suffered from a stroke that then led to a larger stroke early the next morning. Fortunately, Berto had been admitted to a hospital, where he is currently fighting the most difficult and unforeseen battle of his life. His family and close friends are praying for a speedy recovery, but given the severity of the situation, we are asking for help from our community.

Berto has been a long-time member of the Bianco Group family and has been a staple at the downtown Pizzeria since its opening. More often than not, he would be one of the first warm faces that greeted you over the last 27 years. Our hearts break for the Hernandez family as they begin to navigate this uncertain medical emergency.

If you’ve had the opportunity to hear one of his five children describe their father, you know how hard he has worked to always support them in any way possible. With his youngest still in high school, we would like to give the Hernandez family some financial peace of mind while they care for their father. We hope these funds can help the family pay for medical bills and offer a supplemental income while Berto focuses on his recovery.
