Help support Begonia's recovery!

Hi all, our beloved Begonia Bautista had an accident while cooking and as a result is suffering from third and second degree burns on her hands, arms and face. She's in treatment at a burn center in Simi Valley and is going to need skin grafts that will take time to recover. She won't be able to return to work for many weeks.

As you may know the amount of money paid out for medical time off barely covers expenses, and she still has rent to pay, bills and has two kids. Additionally, she will need help with deductibles and rideshares and any number of expenses that come out of such emergencies.

Begonia is such a strong and giving force in our community. She is always willing to show up, give her time, give her best, and do the most good possible. All of us have experienced her positive impact and anyone who knows her knows how hard she works to improve our community.

The next few months are going to be challenging for her so let's do what we can to make things a bit easier!
