Hi my name is Amanda,
Many of you know Becca and Adrien, and now little Wilder, and some of their wild story this past week. After a placenta abruption on Sunday, April 17th, Becca was rushed in for an emergency c-section, one of the fastest Natividad Hospital has seen recently, and Wilder was immediately rushed to the NICU, while many hands worked to stop the bleeding in Becca. They are both lucky to be alive! While this week has been long, but filled with so many great updates about mom and baby, Becca continues to struggle with what has now been diagnosed as HELLP Syndrome.
Tonight, April 23rd, Natividad transferred her to UCSF in hopes that the wonderful care she has been given would continue, but also that they would be better able to treat her. With all of this comes more and more weeks of not working for Adrien, commuting now back and forth from San Fransisco to Salinas, food costs since family won’t be right there to drop off a meal or two, and even more possible surprise medical bills down the road. Anything you could give would help ease their burden and keep their focus on getting better, stronger and finally all together as a new family of three. Thank you so much!
