Hello everyone, Over the past few months I have become close friends with Bisan Salah, a 22 year old girl from Gaza, who is trying with her brother to raise enough money to move her entire family across the border. Bisan has several siblings, two nieces and a young nephew. Bisan is a very sweet girl, before the invasion she dreamed of becoming a nurse, but the war shattered everything, she is incredibly kind and does everything she can for her family. Frankly speaking, she and her entire family are dying of hunger. Her nieces are seriously ill, as is her father. There is very little medical care and what is available is catastrophically expensive. This week Bisan was treated for severe malnutrition, it is hell. Any money we can raise will go to support Bisan and her family through this coming winter. With the prices of basic necessities rising and the need for heating and power increasing, anything you donate will be a huge help.<3

Update

The last few months have been incredibly difficult for Bisan and her family. Starvation has weakened them and they are tired, tired of the endless destruction and displacement and the constant bombing that has only intensified over the summer. To make matters worse, Bisan's husband Hossam has been injured during one of these strikes and it has been a struggle to get him the necessary medical treatment he needs. With winter fast approaching, donations are more necessary than ever. Bisan and her family need tents, warm clothes, medicine, food and means to travel. Any donation, no matter the amount, makes such a difference. Bisan and her family are so grateful for the contributions so far and they pray you will continue supporting them.
