This is something I honestly never expected to be writing.
As many of you will know on the 23rd July 2025, shortly after his second birthday, our lives were turned upside down when my beautiful, cheeky little nephew Arthur was diagnosed with High-Risk Metastatic Neuroblastoma - a type of rare and aggressive childhood cancer.
Over the past year, Arthur has fought harder than most of us will ever have to. He has endured multiple bouts of chemo and immunotherapy, multiple surgeries and most recently went to London to receive proton beam radiotherapy in attempts to cure him from this horrible disease.
Arthur has absolutely smashed everything that has been thrown at him so far and we truly believed he was beating this.
Heartbreakingly, we've now been told that Arthur's cancer has spread. The NHS has exhausted all curative treatment options and all they can now offer is treatment to keep him comfortable and prolong his life.
But we're not ready to give up on our boy just yet.
As I’m sure most of of you would in our position, we are desperately exploring specialist treatment overseas to try and give Arthur the best chance possible. Unfortunately, these treatments are incredibly expensive and come with additional costs for travel, accommodation, and living expenses.
If you know our family, you'll know that we are not the type of people who ask for help. But we have reached a point where we feel like this is our only option and we refuse to let money stand in the way of giving our boy every possible chance.
Every single donation, no matter how big or small, will bring us one step closer to accessing the treatment that could help save his life.If you're unable to donate, please help by sharing this as much as possible!
From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank you all for the kindness, generosity and support we have had and continue to receive. It truly means more than any of us can put into words
