With a heavy heart, I'm reaching out to ask for your prayers, love, and support for our dearest sister Apple Genciana.

Apple is a bright light in so many lives-a kind, selfless and loving sister who has devoted herself to her family and friends. She has always been there for everyone else, but now she needs us more than ever.

Apple who is only 36 years old has been admitted to the hospital initially for severe pains and jaundice, not knowing what the future holds.

Initially the doctors thought she only had gallstones and biliary obstruction and that it can be corrected with surgery.

After further tests, it was a surprise that she had multiple masses found in her cervix, rectum and liver-her liver was already cirrhotic. The doctors were in disbelief of what the state of her liver was. It was not appropriate for her young age.

After 3 days of admission, her condition suddenly declined and now has liver and renal failure. She has been in severe and constant pain despite all interventions given.

Apple is working independently in Manila to pursue her dreams but to a shock for everyone she has gone downhill drastically.

As she is now septic and fluid overloaded, Apple requires to be in intensive care, be intubated and undergo renal replacement therapy.

Our goal is to cover Apple's medical expenses as her HMO and PhilHealth benefits have already been exhausted.

It has been very difficult to decide with the course of treatment due to financial constraints.

As a family we really want to fight for active treatment but we humbly need your help in order for Apple to have a fighting chance.

Apple's condition has been a shock to everyone , and she deserves a fighting chance.
