Antony Ygosse's Medical Evacuation

My name is Penina Ygosse, due to unexpected ill health, my father was admitted to hospital in Samoa early October with increased intracranial pressure (ICP). This is a serious condition where pressure builds up in the skull. As Samoa's health system has very limited resources, the doctors recommended he be Air Ambulanced/MediVac'd to Australia so he can undergo further tests and appropriate treatment.

As an Air Ambulance/Medivac has significant financial costs involved, and payment needs to be upfront before they will leave Australia and dad has no relative insurance, I have started a go fund me page to help cover these costs and the Samoan hospital medical bills, as dad does not have his Samoan citizenship/permanent residency. With help from dads’ siblings, we have been able to raise enough funds for the flight, scheduled for Saturday 12th October. However, he will require rehabilitation and this will be an ongoing cost until he is fully recovered.
