Help Annie&Max(Victor) TemporaryNeedsAfter Losing Their Home
Donation protected
Please help our dear cousins, the Torres family, who, with their 3 beautiful children, lost their home in Altadena to the Eaton fire yesterday. We have been so sad with each mention of all the homes lost, and when we found out about Max (Victor) and Annie's loss, it was just broke our hearts. They left their home out of an abundance of caution and never expected the fire would actually burn down every bit of their home. They are so grateful to be all together and safe but need our help with moving on from here. Your assistance will go to their temporary needs.
Max and Annie had their home for 16 years in Altadena. Max and Annie gave their home all the TLC they could. They poured their heart and soul into the house as Max himself did most of the labor to remodel and fix it up to be their forever home. They have 3 children, ages 5, 10, and 11. Max and Annie are the kindest and most loving parents and are the sweetest people ever. Max has been a high school teacher who inspires all the children and leads with kindness. Annie who is a Media Buyer/ Planner balances all as she cares deeply for her family, home, and all of those she meets.
I am writing to implore anyone who can to just donate something, anything, to help them at this time. If we can raise these funds for items for the kids, toward cost of temporary home needs ( most likely 1 year or more ), food, clothing, and other temporary needs that would be a blessing. Literally, there are only steps left at their old house, and I am hoping we can bring them some hope by taking their first steps to making where they land for now a warm place for the kids to call home until they can rebuild.
With prayers and hopes for Max and Annie and the kids,
