Help My Brother Rebuild After an Unfair Custody Battle

This past Monday, November 3rd, my brother faced one of the hardest days of his life. After a long custody battle, the court ruled in favor of the mother of his children—leaving him with extreme monthly child support payments and an additional $10,000 in legal fees. This devastating outcome has left him emotionally and financially broken.

What makes this so heartbreaking is the kind of man my brother truly is. He has always led with love, compassion, and generosity. When the mother of his children had nowhere to go, he opened his home to her. He made sure she and their daughters had everything they needed—a safe home, food on the table, a beautiful garden for her to enjoy, and even a pool he built himself so his girls could have a happy place to play. He worked tirelessly to make a home full of love, stability, and support.

Despite everything he’s been through, my brother’s heart has always been guided by family and forgiveness. He simply wanted to keep his family together—to give his children the kind of love and security every child deserves. But now, after years of trying to do what’s right, he’s been left with nothing.

He’s not the kind of person to ask for help, but right now, he truly needs it. The financial burden placed on him is overwhelming, and the emotional toll of losing time with his children has broken him in ways I can hardly put into words.
