Help Analia travel to Japan!

Thank you for checking out this fundraiser. If you are reading this message, you are family, friends, or a follower/ fan of our girl, Analia Lopez. Analia has been playing softball since the age of 3. She quickly grew to love the sport and thrive as a competitive fastpitch softball player/ athlete. Analia works hard behind the scenes with her pitching, hitting, and fielding and, of course, keeping up with High School classwork to, Lord willing, someday play college softball. Analia has had many wonderful experiences in the sport, and her latest is, after tryouts, she has been selected to play for the U-15 Mexican National Team and participate in the Inaugural World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-15 Women's Softball World Cup in JAPAN! The youth-focused event will "offer young girls around the world the opportunity to represent their nations from the U-12 Mixed Softball World Cup all the way up to the World Cup and the Olympics." The tournament will host 12 countries: Brazil, Czechia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, the Philippines, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, Uganda, and USA. It is an incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and as a family, we are honored and blessed that Analia has been selected to represent her Mexican Culture/ Heritage through this experience.

The selection of players was announced in late August, and the tournament in JAPAN is October 21, 2023 – October 29, 2023. Analia and Andy (Dad) must travel together to this tournament. While the Mexico Softball Federation covers some of Analia's expenses, not all are. As you can imagine, this type of travel is not cheap and unexpected timing. With the tournament happening so soon, we are asking for our family and friends' support to make this opportunity possible for Analia. The funds raised will go directly toward travel expenses; any remaining funds will be saved for future out-of-state/ country travel with the Mexican National Team (March 2024 and May 2024).

Andy, Analia, and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for contributing to Analia and her love of the game! It takes a village in the world of parents and youth sports. We are so grateful to have had so much support now and throughout the years, whether it be a team fundraiser, individual fundraiser, or many well wishes. She will be sure to soak in the experience, take lots of pictures, and share her journey with you through her IG and Twitter accounts.
