Donate to help Amy with unexpected expenses

My name is Vicki and I'm Amy Olson's mom (Amy is from the band "Olive Oyl").  I'm trying to help her with ongoing expenses since her partner of 24 years was diagnosed with metastatic cancer back in May, 2022 and he gave up his battle in life on Sunday, November 20th, 2022. 

Amy and Mike were never married but they were committed partners for 24 years and their finances were always considered "joint finances" but Mike had everything in his name.  This is so unfortunate because although Amy won't be responsible for any of his debt his estate will go into probate and she stands to lose everything including the house she's worked so hard for during their 24 years together. 

She took an extended leave of absence from her multiple jobs in order to be his 24/7 caregiver and now that he's passed away she's got to get on with the business of earning a living as best she can.  As it stands there isn't even enough money left for a funeral and Amy doesn't own a car of her own since she sold hers when Mike was hospitalized in order to keep up with the bills. 

A wonderful Olive Oyl band member has set up a GoFundMe account for Mike's expenses but I've set up this account for my daughter only as she needs help to move on with her life. She utilizes the Food Shelf and energy assistance but until she can get back to work and bring in a stable income she'll find it very difficult to get by and keep up with the bills.
