Spotkaliśmy się z Aminą (imię zmienione). Amina pochodzi z Afghanistanu., z niewielkiej wsi oddalejnej kilka godzin drogi od stolicy kraju. Jest Hazarką.

Podczas studiów w stolicy spotkała się z Ewangelią i uwierzyła w Mesjasza. Kiedy powróciła do domu, początkowo nikt nie wiedział o tym, że stała się chrześcijanką. Kiedy to po dwóch latach wyszło to na jaw, jej rodzice nie tylko wyrzekli się jej, ale chcieli zabić. Według prawa isl-----ego odejście od wiary przodków jest uznawane za akt przynoszący hańbę całej rodzinie. W świecie Afg-----anu., często uważa się, że aby tę hańbę zmazać, należy usunąć osobę, która ją przyniosła. Stąd największym zagrożeniem dla tych, którzy stali się uczniami Pana, może być ich własna rodzina.

Amina uciekała do stolicy kraju. Jej rodzina przekazała ta-ib-m informację, że Amina rzuciła hańbę na cały isl-m. Groziło jej ukamienowanie. Nie było bezpieczne dla niej pozostać w mieście.

Udało się jej przedostać do P. Uzyskała wizę. Jednakże obecnie P. próbuje pozbyć się ze swego kraju uchodźców afg----ich. Jej wiza przestała być aktualna i nie może jej odnowić. Mieszka się w P. nielegalnie nie mogąc podjąć żadnej pracy.

Na początku, mając aktywną wizę, pracowała i mieszkała w hostelu należącym do afg------ów. Została w nim odnaleziona przez tal--ów i bestialsko torturowana i pobita. Przeżyła dzięki reakcji Afg-----ów z tego hostelu.

Znalazła schronienie u swojej muzułmańskiej przyjaciółki, także hazarki, nie praktykującej pobożność is----u, która sama musiała uciekać od swojego męża, który pojął drugą żonę i chciał odebrać jej dzieci. Kobiety mieszkają razem.

Amina dzisiaj zmaga się z depresją, z bezsennością. Kiedy zamyka oczy widzi swoich oprawców. Ukrywa się. Jej przyszłość jest niepewna. Z jedenej strony nie może pracować i grozi jej deportacja do Afg------nu. Z drugiej strony grozi jej, że zostanie wykryta, gdzie mieszka i znowu zostanie pobita, lub zabita.

Nasze spotkanie nie było przypadkowe. Wierzymy, że Bóg wiedzi sytuację, w jakiej się znajduje i ujmie się za jej życiem. Jak? Przez Ciało Chrystusa. Z jednej strony Amina potrzebuje wsparcia finansowego na codzienne potrzeby, przeżycie. Ale większą potrzebą jest próba wydostania jej z P. To wiąże się z nieznanym nam procesem wizowym, a także kosztami i gąszczem przepisów i kruczków prawnych.

Hamid wraz z żoną uznali Jezusa swoim Zbawicielem i Panem około 10 lat temu. Hamid w Afganistanie był znany jako działacz społeczny, obrońca praw człowieka, dziennikarz oraz pracownik socjalny. Z czasem zaczął także dzielić się Ewangelią z innymi.

Po przejęciu władzy przez talibów sytuacja stała się dla niego skrajnie niebezpieczna. W 2023 roku został aresztowany z powodu wiary w Jezusa oraz dzielenia się nią z innymi. W trakcie uwięzienia był brutalnie torturowany i bity. Jedną z metod tortur było duszenie poprzez nakładanie plastikowej folii na twarz. Cudem przeżył.

Po uwolnieniu nie miał już możliwości bezpiecznego życia w swoim kraju. Razem z żoną uciekł do Pakistanu. W kraju rządzonym przez talibów groziła im śmierć za porzucenie islamu i przyjęcie chrześcijaństwa.

W Pakistanie również nie są bezpieczni. Dzisiaj przebywają w najniebezpieczniejszym mieście w kraju. Przebywają tam jako uchodźcy bez legalnej wizy. Od przybycia do Pakistanu kilkukrotnie musieli zmieniać miejsce pobytu, aby uniknąć wykrycia. Każda kontrola policyjna może zakończyć się ich deportacją do Afganistanu, co w ich przypadku oznacza niemal pewną śmierć.

Obecnie mieszkają w jednym maleńkim pokoju w tanim hostelu prowadzonym przez człowieka ich narodowosci. Warunki są bardzo trudne. Pokój nie ma nawet wentylatora, a temperatury już teraz sięgają około 30°C i w najbliższych miesiącach będą tylko rosnąć.

Shabana, żona Hamida, latem zeszłego roku urodziła córeczkę poprzez cesarskie cięcie.

Na jej głowie znajduje się niezbadany, rosnący guz, który powoduje silny ból promieniujący do lewego oka i ucha. Nie ma możliwości wykonania badań diagnozujących ani leczenia, ponieważ do rejestracji potrzebna jest ważna wiza.

Ich mała córka, Dora, cierpi na infekcje skóry spowodowane złymi warunkami sanitarnymi oraz brakiem dostępu do opieki medycznej. Nie ma wyrobionego paszportu.

Sam Hamid zmaga się z poważnymi, niezdiagnozowanymi problemami z nerkami.

Rodzina nie ma żadnego stałego wsparcia finansowego ani organizacyjnego. Brakuje im żywności, leków oraz podstawowych środków do życia.

Nasza rozmowa odbywała się szeptem, ponieważ nawet zwykła rozmowa może wzbudzić podejrzenia i narazić ich na niebezpieczeństwo.

Z powodu swojego statusu uchodźców, bez możliwości nabycia wizy nie mogą legalnie pracować. Bez dokumentów, bez środków do życia i bez możliwości leczenia są uwięzieni w sytuacji, z której sami nie potrafią się wydostać.

Wspieramy ich finansowo (a raczej polski kościół wspiera - dziękujemy!) w przetrwaniu, jednak ich sytuacja pozostaje bardzo poważna. Wystarczy jedna interwencja policji lub przypadkowe odkrycie ich miejsca pobytu, aby zostali deportowani do Afgaństanu, gdzie grozi im prześladowanie, a nawet śmierć (Mamy kopię dokumentu z oficjalnie wydanym wyrokiem sądu talibów).

Dlatego pilnie potrzebują pomocy w znalezieniu bezpiecznego miejsca poza Pakistanem, gdzie będą mogli żyć bez strachu i rozpocząć nowe życie.

Rozpoczelismy szukanie możliwości przeniesienia ich do Europy lub Kanady; Polska wydaje się dżunglą procedur nie do przejścia, jeżeli chodzi o azyl, ale też próbujemy.

Below, I am sharing a description of the situation of our Sister in Christ, Amina, and Brother Hamid along with his wife and little daughter.

They are Christians from Afghanistan, whom Brother Radek Siewniak met in Pakistan.

With his consent, together with the Brothers and Sisters in Saffron Walden, we undertook to organize a collection to help our persecuted sisters and brother during this difficult period of their lives.

We met with Amina (name changed). Amina comes from Afghanistan, from a small village several hours away from the capital of the country. She is Hazara.

During her studies in the capital, she encountered the Gospel and believed in the Messiah. When she returned home, initially no one knew that she had become a Christian. When this became known after two years, her parents not only disowned her but wanted to kill her. According to Is**ic law, renouncing the faith of one's ancestors is considered an act that brings shame to the entire family. In the world of Afg-----an., it is often believed that in order to erase this disgrace, the person who brought it must be removed. Hence, the greatest threat to those who have become disciples of the Lord may be their own family. Amina was fleeing to the capital of the country. Her family told ta-ib-m that Amina had brought shame on the whole of Is**m. She was in danger of being stoned. It was not safe for her to stay in the city. She managed to get to P. She obtained a visa. However, P. is currently trying to get rid of Afghan---- refugees from his country. Her visa is no longer valid and she cannot renew it. You live in P. illegally, unable to take up any work. At the beginning, with an active visa, she worked and lived in a hostel owned by Afg------s. She was found there by the tals and brutally tortured and beaten. She survived thanks to the reaction of the Af-----ghans from this hostel. She found refuge with her Mu***m friend, also a Hazara who did not practice the devotion of IS----u, who had to flee herself from her husband, who took a second wife and wanted to take her children. The women live together. Today, Amina struggles with depression and insomnia. When she closes her eyes, she sees her abusers. She hides. Her future is uncertain. On one hand, she cannot work and faces deportation to Afgh------n. On the other hand, she is threatened that her location will be discovered and she will be beaten or killed again. Our meeting was not accidental. We believe that God knows the situation she is in and will protect her life. How? Through the Body of Christ. On one hand, Amina needs financial support for daily needs, for survival. But a greater need is the attempt to get her out of P. This involves a visa process unknown to us, as well as costs and a tangle of regulations and legal loopholes. __________________________________________

Hamid and his wife recognized Jesus as their Savior and Lord about 10 years ago. In Afghanistan, Hamid was known as a social activist, a human rights defender, journalist and social worker. Over time, he also began to share the Gospel with others. After the Taliban took power, the situation became extremely dangerous for him. In 2023, he was arrested for believing in Jesus and sharing it with others. During his imprisonment, he was brutally tortured and beaten. One of the methods of torture was suffocation by applying plastic foil to the face. Miraculously, he survived. After his release, he no longer had the opportunity to live safely in his country. He fled to Pakistan with his wife. In a country ruled by the Taliban, they were threatened with death for abandoning Islam and adopting Christianity. They are also not safe in Pakistan. Today, they are in the most dangerous city in the country. They are staying there as refugees without a legal visa. Since arriving in Pakistan, they have had to change their whereabouts several times to avoid detection. Any police check can end in their deportation to Afghanistan, which in their case means almost certain death. Currently, They live in a single tiny room in a cheap hostel run by a person of their nationality. The conditions are very difficult. The room does not even have a fan, and temperatures are already reaching around 30°C and will only rise in the coming months.

Shabana, Hamid's wife, gave birth to a daughter last summer via cesarean section. On her head is an unexplored, growing tumor that causes severe pain radiating to her left eye and ear. There is no possibility of diagnostic tests or treatment because a valid visa is required for registration.

Their little daughter, Dora, suffers from skin infections caused by poor sanitary conditions and lack of access to medical care. She does not have a passport.

Hamid himself is struggling with serious, undiagnosed kidney problems.

The family has no regular financial or organizational support. They lack food, medicine, and basic living necessities. Our conversation took place in a whisper because even a normal conversation can to arouse suspicion and put them in danger. Due to their refugee status, without the possibility of obtaining a visa, they cannot work legally. Without documents, without means of subsistence, and without access to medical care, they are trapped in a situation they cannot get out of on their own.

We support them financially (or rather the Polish church supports them – thank you!) in surviving, but their situation remains very serious. A single police intervention or an accidental discovery of their location could result in their deportation to Afghanistan, where they face persecution and even death (We have a copy of a document with an officially issued Taliban court verdict).

Therefore, they urgently need help in finding a safe place outside Pakistan, where they can live without fear and start a new life. We have begun looking for possibilities to move them to Europe or Canada; Poland seems like a jungle of procedures impassable when it comes to asylum, but we are trying as well.
