Hello family and friends! My name is Amanda Rivera Díaz, and I am currently a sophomore at Land O’ Lakes High School in Florida. I am proud to share that I have been invited to be a delegate representing Land O’ Lakes High School at the “National Student Leadership Conference: Environmental Science & Sustainability”.

The National Student Leadership Conference is a highly selective national program honoring academically superior high school students. The 9-day program will take place at Yale University in New Haven, CT. from July 17th to July 25th of 2023. I will have the opportunity to live and learn on a college campus, interacting with my peers from across the U.S and around the world.

I have been selected for recognition because of my academic record, my leadership potential, and my desire to contribute to the study of natural systems and the application of technology to protect and improve the environment.

After the completion of this unique experience, I will be awarded a Letter of Recommendation, Academic Transcript, and Certificate of Achievement. I can even earn college credit from The American University and a $20,000 NSLC Alumni College Scholarship.

In order to attend, a tuition of $3,695, flight ticket, and other expenses must be paid. I would sincerely appreciate your help in my pursuit of this higher education experience and continue to be a positive representation for my school, school district, and community

¡Hola familiares y amigos! Mi nombre es Amanda Rivera Díaz, actualmente soy estudiante de segundo año en Land O’ Lakes High School en Florida. Estoy muy orgullosa de compartir con ustedes que he sido invitada a ser delegada en representación a Land O’ Lakes High School en el “National Student Leadership Conference: Environmental Science & Sustainability”.

El “National Student Leadership Conference” es un programa nacional altamente selectivo que honra a los estudiantes de secundaria académicamente superiores. El programa de 9 días se llevará a cabo en la Universidad de Yale en New Haven, Ct desde el 17 de Julio hasta el 25 de Julio de 2023. Tendré la oportunidad de vivir y aprender en un campus universitario, interactuando con mis compañeros a través de EE.UU. y alrededor del mundo.

He sido seleccionada para el reconocimiento por mi récord académico, potencial de liderazgo, y mi deseo de contribuir a los estudios de sistemas naturales y la aplicación de tecnología para proteger y mejorar el ambiente.

Luego de completar esta experiencia única, seré galardonada con una Carta de Recomendación, Transcripción Académica, y Certificado de Logros. Hasta podría ganar créditos universitarios de “The American University” y una beca universitaria de $20,000 de exalumnos de NSLC.

Para asistir, hay que costear la matrícula de $3,695, pasaje de avión, y otros gastos. Agradecería sinceramente su ayuda para cumplir mi sueño de obtener esta experiencia de educación superior en lo que me apasiona, para continuar siendo una representación positiva para mi escuela, distrito escolar y comunidad.
