Hello to all my friends and lover of animals especially the needy ones. As you probably remember I recently posted about my sweet little underweight and malnourished foster dog that we called Sugar and was also called Pearl. Amanda a fellow volunteer and foster parent for the shelter offered to keep her while I was in Florida for a few weeks. While I was gone our baby girl developed an abdominal blockage and the County Shelter's only option was to euthanize her. Amanda decided to adopt her so that she could take her to a private vet for emergency surgery to try to save her life. We were both very hopeful that this surgery would be successful and that she could live the rest of her life in the loving home with Amanda and I would be her "grandmother". Unfortunately the damage was too extensive and the decision was made for humane euthanasia. We are both heartbroken. I started this fundraiser to help Amanda pay for the surgery which was $2200. It would mean so much to me if my friends and family would donate whatever they can. I love you all and greatly appreciate any amount that you donate.
