Hi, my name is Nicole and I’m fundraising for my sister-in-law and long time friend, Alison Gilbody.

After experiencing numbness, decrease in her mobility and debilitating headaches, Alison was rushed to emergency after completely losing mobility on the left side of her body. After undergoing a CT scan, the doctors diagnosed her with having two brain tumours on her right side of her brain.

Yesterday, Alison underwent brain surgery to have the tumours removed, they believe they were successful in removing it all. Alison still has a long journey ahead, with physical therapy and potential radiation treatment to confirm complete removal of the tumour. At this time, she is still awaiting pending pathology results to determine if additional treatment is needed.

Alison is a mother of two young children - ages 6 and 3. She always puts others first and never asks for help! I am asking for help to raise funds for her and her family while she is not able to work. Your generous donations would help go towards supporting bills, rent, groceries, medical expenses, rehab, and ensuring she is able to support her family. This is an extremely difficult and stressful time for Alison as she continues putting the care of her children first.
