Donate To Help Ali Fight Cancer

Hi,

my name is Carol.

I am raising funds for a special girl who is like family to us, Ali Shaw. My family and I met Ali through a shared love of all things motorised and fast.

 

Ali just turned 37. Ali was initially diagnosed with stage 3 gynaecological cancer. 

After 12 months of chemotherapy and radiotherapy the conventional treatment has failed and Ali is now incurable.

Two of the options for treatment, more chemotherapy or surgery, are not possible. Ali has been offered a clinical trial drug treatment which is not offered or funded under the PBS/Medicare scheme and will require 5 months of hospitalisation.

She has been forced to sell her beloved Subaru WRX, to part-fund the treatment, but this is not enough.

Whilst the car was advertised, there was a lot of support for Ali, and many requests for an avenue to donate to help cover the cost of her treatment.
