Alana Rao and Jason Bass are proud parents to young children within our school district. Like many, they have grown concerned about the direction that our district was heading in under the leadership of our former Superintendent. They have also been actively involved in the recruitment of our yet-to-be-named future Superintendent.

Alana is currently an Administrator of Developmental Disability Services for those who live in Supportive Housing in a local nonprofit organization. While Jason is currently a Lieutenant in the New York City Police Department.

Together, they intend to lead our district out of the umbrella of divisiveness and return it back to the high academic standards that it previously had. Their goal is to ensure that all students feel welcome, safe and important while being held to rigorous academic standards. And they fully understand that political values have no place within our school buildings.

In short, Alana and Jason want to ensure that our children feel inspired while maximizing their educational potential during their time in the Clarkstown Central School District!
