I’m Akira, and I’m reaching out for help during an incredibly difficult time. I’ve been working tirelessly to fulfill orders for multiple Backerkits, including Hazbin Hotel Bags, Helluva Boss Bags, and King Clawthorne Bags, but I’m now facing an unexpected financial challenge that I can’t solve alone.

While I was sick with pneumonia for 2–3 weeks and unable to work, my manufacturer suddenly increased their price demands. Initially, they asked for an additional $1,900, but during my recovery, the amount ballooned to $5,000. They’ve now issued an ultimatum, insisting I pay the full amount by January 1st, and I’m terrified about what might happen if I can’t meet this demand.

I’ve tried multiple avenues to cover this cost:

Credit Cards: Unfortunately, all of my cards are maxed out from Alibaba purchases to produce these items.

Loans: I’ve applied for loans, but the only ones I qualify for have interest rates so high that the $5,000 loan would cost me $12,000 to repay. This makes loans unfeasible as a solution.

I currently earn just under $500 a week working overtime, which gives me only four weeks of pay to come up with $5,000—while also covering shipping costs for backers who haven’t yet received their orders. This situation has left me financially drained and overwhelmed.

What the Funds Will Be Used For:

Paying the manufacturer’s $5,000 demand to release the completed merchandise.

Covering shipping costs to fulfill orders in larger, more affordable batches.

Ensuring every backer receives their items as soon as possible.

Why This Matters to Me:

This was never the experience I wanted to provide. I’ve been dreaming of seeing your posts, stories, and tags with your plushies and bags, knowing the joy they can bring. I remember how overjoyed I was when I got my first plushies, and it breaks my heart to have these items stuck in boxes while I struggle to resolve these financial hurdles.
