Donate to Help Aidan Get Internship Apartment

Hi, my name is Aidan Lloyd, I am a sophomore Film and Media Studies Major at St. Olaf College.

After a long journey of finding my way into the entertainment industry as a videographer/cinematographer (explained in the youtube video), I have reached a pivotal moment in my career after being offered an internship on the CNN New York Documentary Unit!

But like all things, it comes at a price, and New York is expensive beyond my conception. The apartment/room search for the summer has been brutal, and I have run into complications everywhere I look. The internship starts in 8 weeks, and I still have no idea where I will stay.

This is why I have made this GoFundMe to solicit your help to make this all possible.

The goal of 10k is to combine with the needs-based scholarship given to me by my school to afford a furnished apartment in Manhattan!

Any excess funds (if I pass my goal) will go towards other necessities for my year's endeavors (Production of my first film and leaving the continent for the first time to study abroad in Milan for the semester) :

I plan on documenting and turning all my year's travels into a film, including moving to New York for my internship, going to Milan and wherever else I go during my time in Europe and all of those adventures and wrapping up with a conclusion and reflection once I return to the United States in December.
