Hi, my name is Adrielle and I am almost 5 years old. I live with my mum Hanna dad Luke and my big brother Caleb who is 7. I was born 2.5 months prematurley along with my twin sister who unfortunately only lived for a few hours.

I was born with Spina Bifida which is a condition that affects the spine and for which there is no cure, only the symptoms can be treated. My condition means I have no function in my legs from the knee down my bladder and intestines do not work properly. Every 3 hours I get help from either my mum or dad to got to the toilet and they use a catheter to help me. I also have a stoma that I use for number 2's. I wear splints and have a walker to help me walk around the house and a wheelchair for longer walks.

I am getting so big that I need a new car that is able to be modified with ramp access so I can get into the car whilst sitting in my wheelchair. This is important for both me and for my parents. Whenever we go somewhere in the car my parents lift me into the car, this doesn't help me become independent and as I am getting bigger it is increasingly harder for mum and dad to carry me. We use the car a lot as I have many hospital appointments so this would help me and my family a great deal.
