I am organising a fundraiser for my amazing sister, Adetoun Adeyemi, who urgently needs life-saving surgery.
Adetoun is a strong and inspiring woman living with Sickle Cell Disease. Despite her health challenges, she pursued her education with determination, graduating with good grades in Public Administration. She currently works as a Porter at a university in Nigeria, doing her best to support herself while managing her health.
Her medical journey has been long and difficult. She had her first surgery in 2010, followed by another in 2018, where doctors placed an implant in her leg to help her walk. Unfortunately, the implant has now shifted dangerously toward her vaginal area, causing her severe pain and complications. Doctors have confirmed that she needs immediate surgery to prevent further damage.
Adetoun has exhausted every possible avenue to raise the funds on her own. Our family has also contributed significantly over the years toward her medications and treatments, but this urgent surgery goes beyond what we can manage alone.
We are humbly asking for your support. Your donation will go directly toward Adetoun’s surgery and help relieve her pain so she can regain her health and continue building the bright future she deserves.
No amount is too small, every contribution makes a difference. Please keep Adetoun in your prayers, and may God bless you abundantly for your kindness and generosity.
