The Fight Against Breast Cancer

Adele is 31 years old. She is our sister, our daughter, our zia, our cousin, our friend, our co-worker, our peer, our neighbour, our perfect stranger. She is you.. and She has Breast Cancer..

She has learned this year that like many She has Breast Cancer.

This means that she will undergo chemotherapy, radiation and surgery. As well as numerous other invasive treatments.

Unfortunately, with countless unforeseen circumstances this means that financially she will be unable to afford everything that comes with Cancer.

From Medication, to treatments, to hospital visits, to the absolute need for self-care / home-care that she will inevidentable need.

We as a family have and will continue to do all that we can to support Adele, but it is just not enough!

As this journey moves forward, life will become harder, she will not be able to work and solely support herself on her self-employed income. As you would imagine, being self-employed would mean she would need herself to work, so please let us come together and be a community that helps our fellow neighbour through this tremendous hardship.

We as a family appreciate everything that everyone has done, being a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. The next year or so will be a very difficult time for her and our family.

We hope that you will understand that this is a very vulnerable and personal adversity that we will have to navigate through, our hopes are that you will give the family time and space to emotionally, mentally, and physically digest what our daughter, sister, cousin, zia, Adele is going through.
