Hi, our names are Matt & Dani and we are raising funds for our amazing team member and great mate Dan, who has been unwell over the past several weeks.

Recently he received news from his doctor that he has been diagnosed with leukaemia.

Dan is just 25 years old. He's a devoted partner to beautiful Britt, and together they have recently welcomed their gorgeous baby girl into the world. Anyone that knows Dan, will agree when we say that he is a jokester, hard working, a great friend, an excellent sparkie (if we do say so ourselves!), a devoted partner and father and just a great down to earth bloke.

Dan has been diagnosed with a type of leukaemia called AML (Acute Myeloid Leukaemia). While we don’t yet know the severity, we remain hopeful it is the less aggressive form. He will undergo a month of intensive chemotherapy as an admitted patient. Depending on the outcome of this treatment, the next steps may be remission or a stem cell transplant. Regardless of the path forward, Dan will need to continue intensive treatment for at least 12 months even in the best-case scenario.

During this time, Britt will be raising their daughter and caring for Dan while staying in temporary accommodation in Brisbane so she can be by his side and so their little girl can see her daddy.

We have created this GoFundMe in the hope that friends, family, clients of Dan’s, and the wider community can rally behind this incredible family. The road ahead is going to be tough, but we can help ease the financial burden so Dan and Britt can focus on what matters most, Dan's health and their precious daughter.
